I had my hair cut, Mary Harriett picked up the films and we went to get the car serviced. We took the back way, through Emigration Canyon to Salt Lake City UT. We also went to “This is the Place” park and back to Ruth’s Diner for lunch. We sat out on the patio under a heat lamp. I had the breakfast parfait, Mary Harriett had an eggplant parmesan sandwich. We drove to the University of Utah's Red Butte Gardens. Just beautiful. I loved the Children’s garden. Then we drove over to see the Great Salt Lake. It seemed to be down with lots of shoreline showing. There is a big building there. It used to be a Casino, but it got outlawed. We drove back to Park City, stopped at the library so I could pay my Master Card bill. I also sent a message to family, asking if they wanted any souvenirs of the Olympics. We got messages from John and Win. We ate leftovers for supper. The TV cable was not working so we watched Thelma and Louise.
