We made coffee and ate our breakfast in room, the muffins Mary Harriett had bought. We drove down the coast, Rt 101-12-5 to Olympia WA and drove by the Capitol building. Then we drove up to Gig Harbor WA, over bridge that replaced Galloping Gertie. We had lunch at a nice place, where I had An Alaskan Halibut sandwich, which was delicious. We walked into some of the shops there. It is a cute little fishing village that tourists love. I bought a necklace and earrings for Cathy and a doll for Helena. We got back on the road again, to Tacoma WA to visit the history museum. That was a great place - lots of figures, which talked when people came near, telling the history of Washington. We then headed north to Issaquah WA. We had supper in a cafe, then went to a Krispy Kreme doughnut store where they make glazed doughnuts and they give each customer a free doughnut. Arlene got a half dozen for our breakfast tomorrow. We were tired and glad to get back to Arlene’s. I checked e-mail before going to bed and watched a TV show about John Nash.
