We were up early enough to eat breakfast at the motel. We went to look at the Lilac Garden. We got there about 9:00, but it didn’t open till 10:00. We hung around until some nice lady came along and told us to go ahead in. So, we walked around for a half hour and admired the gardens. Then we headed north and stopped at Lakeview WA to get information. We decided to eat in Tacoma WA, on the waterfront at Harbor Lights, which was nice. I had shrimp and Mary Harriett had salmon. We got to Arlene’s place about 2:30, unpacked and discussed how we will spend our time here. We went to a play, “Enrico IV” at the University theater with Arlene’s friend, Chris.
