We went across Main Street to El Ray for breakfast. I ordered sourdough pancakes and the waitress said they were really sour so I changed my order to the buckaroo, which is made with cornmeal and buckwheat. They were good, but I’m still curious about how the others tasted. We drove into Salt Lake City to the AAA office and got books on Nevada, Wyoming and the Dakotas. We left our car there in their parking lot and walked over to the next block to get on the trolley. We got off near the Temple, found the Family Research Library and spent the next three hours finding out how to look up various things, using the computer, census record on micro film and books. We finally left to get some lunch and ran into one of the ladies we had talked to during our lunch on Monday. She greeted us like long friends and wished us well. We went into JB’s for lunch, then got on the University trolley and got back to the car. We went into the “Wild oats food store” and got our favorite potato chips; four different bags. I got a birthday card for Caroline. We drove back to Park City and toured around there. Mary Harriett made great western egg sandwiches for supper!
