I was worried about Mary Harriett early in the morning. She was having such trouble breathing. I went and got breakfast at Lake House restaurant (cereal, juice and coffee) and brought back coffee, fruit and a roll to Mary Harriett. She did eat the fruit, said coffee was awful and had one bite of the cinnamon roll. She got dressed and we went to hospital at Lake Village. They did tests, took X-rays and said she has pneumonia and is anemic. They put her on oxygen right away and finally she could breathe. They were all very helpful and pleasant people. Dr. S. arranged for her to be admitted to hospital in Cody WY which is 2,000 ft lower than where we were. I checked out, packed and pick Mary Harriett up at hospital. We were on our way by 4:00. The road was steep going down. We had a lot of snow on that side of the park. It was raining while we were going down the mountain. It looked like very thick rain to me. We got to Cody about 5:30. She checked in and was put in the ER for about two hours while two doctors talked to her. Finally they had a room ready for her. They put a cot in the room for me. I went to Albertson’s to get granola bars, yogurt and bananas. They have her on IV, oxygen and medicine for fever.
